A shocking controversy involving the older brother of Jisoo has ignited intense online debate in South Korea after a BJ (broadcast jockey) accused him of sexual assault.
According to a report published by Dispatch on May 11, the case revolves around completely opposing testimonies from both sides. While the alleged victim claims she was forcibly assaulted, the accused insists the encounter was consensual and part of a planned “setup.”
The incident reportedly occurred after the two met through a “meal date” arrangement on the livestreaming platform SOOP.

Dispatch reported that Jisoo’s brother, identified only as “A,” entered BJ “B”’s livestream and reportedly spent 35,000 star balloons worth approximately 3.5 million KRW (around $2,500 USD).
As part of the platform culture, the donation allegedly earned him a “meal date” with the streamer. The pair met on April 15 at an izakaya in Cheongdam-dong before later heading to A’s residence.
Both sides reportedly agreed on several parts of the timeline:
- They ate and drank together.
- They watched TV in the living room.
- They eventually moved toward the bedroom area.

However, their testimonies completely diverged regarding what happened afterward.
According to A, the BJ entered the bedroom first on her own. “She went into the bedroom first and even sat on the bed alone. I naturally interpreted that as a green light,” he reportedly claimed.
However, B strongly denied that interpretation. She alleged that A had taken zolpidem and complained about being sleepy, so she guided him to the bedroom simply to help him rest before leaving.

“I grabbed his wrist and took him there because I wanted him to sleep quickly so I could go home,” she reportedly stated.
The disagreement escalated further regarding physical contact.
A denied having intercourse and claimed the interaction only involved mutual skinship that stopped when requested.
B, meanwhile, alleged that he forcefully pulled her onto the bed, removed her clothing against her will, restrained her body, and attempted sexual intercourse despite repeated resistance.

One of the biggest points drawing public attention is a series of KakaoTalk messages allegedly sent by B to her manager while inside the bathroom.
According to Dispatch, the messages included: “Please save me” and “I think I’m about to get raped.”
B stated that she used the bathroom as an opportunity to secretly ask for help while pretending to wash up.
Her manager reportedly contacted the police immediately afterward.

A, however, questioned the credibility of her claims. “If it were truly rape, why would she wash herself instead of preserving evidence?” he reportedly argued.
B responded that she feared he would become suspicious if she behaved differently and said she was trying to buy time until help arrived.
The accused also claimed the BJ and her associates deliberately targeted him after discovering he was Jisoo’s older brother.
According to A:
- The BJ allegedly knew his identity beforehand.
- She allegedly expressed strong interest throughout the dinner.
- She allegedly could have left the apartment at any time.

He further claimed the situation was orchestrated to pressure him into a financial settlement.
Meanwhile, B denied all accusations of extortion and emphasized that the case immediately became a police matter rather than a private negotiation.
She also claimed she repeatedly asked him to stop and felt unable to safely leave the residence.
Dispatch outlined the following timeline from the night:
- First alleged molestation: 11:30 PM – 11:42 PM
- First bathroom break: 11:42 PM – 11:53 PM
- Second alleged molestation: 11:53 PM – 11:59 PM
- Second bathroom break: 11:59 PM – 12:04 AM
- Police arrival: 12:12 AM
B reportedly submitted a medical diagnosis claiming bruising injuries suffered during the alleged assault.

A denied all accusations and stated he plans to pursue legal action for false accusation.
The case has rapidly spread across Korean online communities, with netizens fiercely divided over the conflicting narratives.
Some internet users point to the emergency messages as critical evidence supporting the alleged victim’s claims. Others question inconsistencies in the timeline and argue that the full investigation has not yet concluded.
As of now, no court ruling has been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
