Ji Chang-wook’s visual in the new drama “The Sound of Magic” is praised to be 200% synchronized with the main character in the original webtoon
Ha Il-kwon’s popular webtoon “Annarasumanara” has been made into a live-action drama.
On April 22nd, Netflix unveiled the main trailer for the drama “The Sound of Magic”, which will be released on the 6th of next month, raising high expectations from the viewers.
“The Sound of Magic” depicts the story that happens when the mysterious magician Lee Eul (Ji Chang-wook) appears in front of Yoon Ah-yi (Choi Sung-eun), a girl who lost her dream, and Na Il-deung (Hwang In-yeop), a boy who is forced to dream.
The trailer begins with a rumor spreading about magician Lee Eul, who lives in an abandoned amusement park. Meeting Lee Eul by chance for the first time, like other children, Yoon Ah-yi and Na Il-deung were wary of Lee Eul because they did not know his name or age.
However, when needing someone’s help, they begin to open their hearts to Lee Eul, who appears like magic and shows them a new world. The short time of learning magic from Lee Eul becomes the only window for the two to breathe.
The magic that Lee Eul shows to Yoon Ah-yi and Na Il-deung gives warm comfort to all the people who are looking for answers to their dreams and to become adults.
However, they also face a crisis.
While going back to the land of dreams and innocence that they have forgotten thanks to Lee Eul’s magic, a person in the village goes missing and Lee Eul suddenly becomes a suspect, making dark clouds hang over the dreamy times of the three.
Actor Ji Chang-wook, who has captivated the hearts of female fans with his handsome look, plays the male lead Lee Eul in this drama.
Ji Chang-wook, who has received many praises for his high synchronization with the main character in the original webtoon, introduced Lee Eul, saying, “He (Lee Eul) is a mysterious character who arouses people’s curiosity. He’s a person who creates his own world, where the standard of good and evil is meaningless, and lives inside it”, making the fans more curious about Lee Eul’s identity.
