The actor continued, “That friend took me home every day, picked me up and lent me money when I had a hard time”. He explained, “Managers left the company due to various reasons, so I asked my friend, who was working part-time in Anyang back then, if he would like to be my manager. He agreed and we started working together”.

Ji Chang-wook said, “My friend said he needed 3 days to think about it. In the end, he said he needed a driver’s license, then he got it and started working right away”.

He shared, “My friend struggled and wandered around at first because it was an unfamiliar environment to him. Since we stayed up all night for late filming, he sometimes fell asleep while driving. I told him to stop at a rest area if he felt sleep to be safe, so he literally stopped at every rest area we went by to sleep”, adding “It normally took 3 hours, but we went for 9 hours”.

Regarding his feelings about working with his friend, Ji Chang-wook said, “We had a fierce fight three years ago. After the schedule, we had a big fight in the underground parking lot”.

Revealing that his friend is very special and unique, Ji Chang-wook added, “Programs like ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ contacted him, but he refused the offer because they pay too little”, drawing laughter.
