Appearing on the YouTube variety show Salon Drip 2 on September 16, Jeon Yeo Been opened up about her personal life and friendships. When asked if she often attends private gatherings, she explained, “Many of my non-celebrity friends are now married and building families, so we don’t meet as frequently.”
She added, “I try not to let my work become a topic of conversation. When I do meet my friends, we usually talk about the past, reminiscing about our teenage years and laughing like kids.”
Host Jang Do Yeon then asked if her friends ever questioned her about romance with co-stars. Jeon admitted, “They used to ask that a lot when I first started acting, but once they realized my personality, they stopped. They knew I wouldn’t tolerate it.”
The actress went on to share one particular incident: “There was a time I actually got angry. I told my friend, ‘What you’re treating as gossip is my profession. If you speak that way about my colleagues, it’s offensive to me.’”
