At the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, actress Jeon Yeo-been and Kim Tae-ri melted hearts with a display of genuine friendship that had fans cheering, “This duo is perfect!”
On May 6, Jeon Yeo-bin posted a photo on her social media along with the caption, “Congratulations, love you.” The image shows her and Kim Tae-ri embracing joyfully behind the scenes at the prestigious event. Jeon Yeo-bin is seen pulling Kim Tae-ri in close for a playful selfie, both actresses beaming with unfiltered happiness.

The post quickly sparked warm responses from fans:
- “Are they this close?!”
- “True besties!”
- “Kim Tae-ri looks genuinely happy,”
- “You can feel the sincerity,”
- “This pairing is gold.”
Kim Tae-ri was honored that evening with the Best Actress award in the TV category for her performance in the JTBC drama Jeong Nyeon. In her heartfelt acceptance speech, she shared:

“It was an honor to portray a period when female theater shone brightest. I tried not to compromise, and even if I wasn’t perfect, I saw my shortcomings as romantic ideals. I’ll continue striving without being ashamed of my ambition.”
This marks Kim Tae-ri’s second major Baeksang win following her 2022 victory for Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Her bond with Jeon Yeo-bin has grown over the years, with the two even changing agencies together, traveling often, and actively supporting each other’s projects—earning them the title of one of K-ent’s most iconic friendships.

At this year’s Baeksang, Culinary Class War took home the Grand Prize in the TV category—the first time a variety program itself, rather than a PD or host, was honored. When Life Gives You Tangerines won Best Drama, PungHyangGO claimed Best Variety Program, and the Best Educational Program went to SBS Special: Hakjeon and the Others – Kim Min-ki. On the film side, director** Song Yeon-hwa** won Best Director for Doubt.
Jeon Yeo-bin, who debuted in the 2015 film The Treacherous, has since carved a strong career with standout roles in films like Age of Shadows, Night in Paradise, and Cobweb, as well as popular dramas including Save Me, Live, Vincenzo, and Be Melodramatic.
