On April 4, a video titled “Day Drinking with So-min” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Kim Ji-seok [Jewel Inside Me]. In the video, Jeon So-min appeared as a guest and shared candid thoughts about her life and career.

Speaking about her challenge of performing in theater, she said, “I’m really scared of the audience. It feels like I can even hear the breathing of people in the front row.” However, she added, “After it’s over, the sense of achievement is completely different,” revealing both the pressure of the stage and the fulfillment she gains as an actress.

Jeon So-min also opened up about her thoughts on marriage. She reflected, “I sometimes wonder if I would feel lonely if I don’t get married. I think about whether I’d feel a sense of loss from not experiencing something that everyone else does.” In response, Kim Ji-seok commented, “People often say you should get married at least once and experience that kind of relationship.”

When Kim Ji-seok mentioned he is the second of three brothers, Jeon So-min jokingly asked, “Is your younger brother handsome? Compared to blind dates, someone close to a friend feels more reliable, so maybe there could be a connection.” Kim Ji-seok then revealed, laughing, “My brother is 10 years younger than me and is getting married next year.”

During a balance game segment, she was asked whether she would accept 10 billion won in exchange for an embarrassing public act. Jeon So-min carefully considered, asking about the currency value and conditions, before jokingly saying, “If it’s like now, 10 billion won isn’t enough. Maybe for 20 billion… I might do it. I’d just move abroad.” Her unexpected answer caused laughter, while Kim Ji-seok responded, “Only 20 billion? You should at least ask for 50 billion—it’s something that would follow you for life.”

Observing her calm demeanor, Kim Ji-seok remarked that she seemed more composed than before and asked if something significant had happened. Jeon So-min replied, “I’ve been thinking a lot lately. I think I’ve let go of my dreams.”

She elaborated, “It might sound negative, but there comes a time when people have to let go of their dreams. I think I’m at that point.” She added that releasing those expectations made her feel freer, saying, “I realized I don’t have to become something specific. I decided not to define myself too rigidly.”

Jeon So-min emphasized the importance of self-trust, saying, “You have to believe in yourself first. I haven’t lived carelessly, so I trust that I’ll do my best no matter what path I take.”

Meanwhile, Jeon So-min recently appeared in the film 18 Youth, where she played a cool-headed teacher. She is also set to return to the stage in May with the two-person play Lungs.
