At the event, Lee Chung-hyun and Jeon Jong-seo expressed their feelings about working together again following the movie “Call”.

Director Lee said, “Jong-seo is a clever actress with a good sense. Even when filming ‘The Call’, I didn’t need to speak loudly on the set. Since we know each other so well, we could understand everything only through communication with our eyes without saying a word during the filming of ‘Ballerina’.” He added, “We completed the filming well with our great teamwork”.

“Ballerina” director Lee Chung-hyun is also Jeon Jong-seo’s boyfriend. The two got to know each other through ‘“The Call” and publicized their romantic relationship in December 2021.

Jeon Jong-seo shared, “I worked with director Lee for ‘The Call’. Whether it is ‘The Call’ or the short film “Ransom”, I believe that there is always a character in the movie that clearly reveals the director’s color. This time, it would be Min-hee”, adding “When Min-hee is with Ok-ju, she can show her charms. I thought I should support Min-hee well so that viewers can keep recalling Min-hee as a character that makes me do such big things because of her death. I think I focused more on Min-hee.”

Meanwhile, “Ballerina” will premiere on October 6th. It’s an action revenge film about former bodyguard Ok-ju (Jeon Jong-seo) chasing after Choi Pro (Kim Ji-hoon), who causes the death of her precious friend Min-hee (Park Yu-rim).
