Former member of girl group Secret, Jeon Hyo Sung, has found a “reliable family” after starring in Netflix’s “Celebrity”.
Jeon Hyo Sung has signed an exclusive contract with her new agency, Alien Company. In particular, the agency announced on the 13th, “We have become family with Jeon Hyo Sung, who possesses diverse charms.”
Debuting as a member of girl group Secret in 2009, Jeon Hyo Sung received much love with numerous hit songs such as “MAGIC”, “MADONNA”, “Shy Boy”, and “Starlight Moonlight”. She has since been active in various fields, which ranges from music, hosting, entertainment, to radio hosting, showcasing versatility.
In 2013, Jeon Hyo Sung landed her first leading role in the K-drama “Cheo Yong”. Ever since, she has attracted attention with stable acting skills through various works such as “Cheo Yong 2”, “My Dear Cat”, “Wanted”, “Introvert Boss”, and “Memorist”.
Recently, the idol-actress garnered attention for her appearance in the Netflix series “Celebrity”, which ranked first in the Netflix Top 10 TV (non-English) category. “Celebrity” depicts the glamorous and fierce realities of celebrities encountered by Ah Ri (played by Park Gyu Young), who jumps into a world where becoming famous means making money.
In the drama, Jeon Hyo Sung took on the role of “Sold-out Queen” and influencer Oh Min Hye. Here, she received praise for delicately portraying the character’s extreme and contrasting aspects, from the charming and bubbly side to the moments of being trapped by an inferiority complex.
