The press conference for the movie “Revolver” was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on July 9th with the attendance of Jeon Do-yeon, Ji Chang-wook, Lim Ji-yeon, and director Oh Seung-wook.
“Revolver” tells the story of former police officer Soo-young, who was imprisoned due to unexpected crimes, aims for only one goal with unwavering determination after being released from prison
Jeon Do-yeon takes on the role of Soo-young, who is determined to achieve her only goal. Ji Chang-wook plays Andy, who breaks his promise and urges Soo-young to take action. Lim Ji-yeon appears as Yoon-sun, a helper whose intention is still hidden.
During the press conference, Jeon Do-yeon mentioned Ji Chang-wook’s performance and poured compliments, saying “I think he’s an actor whose acting skills have been underrated because of his handsomeness. He has such a strong image of being handsome that I was very surprised while working on this project with him. We filmed our first scene together then I told the director that I had never seen such an appearance of him before”.
Regarding his character, Ji Chang-wook shared, “He’s a person who causes a lot of trouble with his limited abilities compared to what he has. In short, he’s a troublemaker”, adding “A crazy guy who sprays perfume all the time. This kind of role is new to me as well. I believe that it would be very interesting to play this role so I decided to choose it”.
“Revolver” will premiere on August 7th.
