On December 24, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took to her personal SNS to share her thoughts after attending the 2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA), along with several behind-the-scenes photos from the ceremony. Reflecting on the night, she wrote, “As I wrap up 2025, I was told I burned it up at an award ceremony I attended after a long time.”

Rather than focusing solely on her achievements, Jennie dedicated most of her message to thanking the people who helped bring her performance to life. She expressed deep appreciation for everyone involved, saying, “To all the staff who prepared MMA together with me, to the 50 dancers, to the three amazing directors, and most of all, to our OA family who has always sincerely been with me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. The stage we created together is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

She also made sure to share her gratitude with fans who supported her music throughout the year. “To everyone who loved my music and my album this year, thank you sincerely. I’ll repay all that love with even better versions of myself. I love you. Merry Christmas,” she added.

At the 2025 MMA, Jennie took home the prestigious Record of the Year award, further cementing her status as one of K-pop’s leading solo artists. During her acceptance speech, she echoed similar sentiments of gratitude, stating, “Thank you so much for giving me such a big award. This year was especially meaningful with the release of an important album.” She went on to thank her company, Odd Atelier, as well as the staff and all 50 dancers who supported her performances.

In a moment that warmed fans’ hearts, Jennie also mentioned her BLACKPINK members with a touch of humor, saying she missed them dearly and felt lonely performing alone. She concluded by sending love to the fandom, adding, “BLINK, I always love you. Thank you.”

On stage, Jennie delivered critically praised performances of her mega-hit songs ‘Seoul City’ and ‘like JENNIE’, showcasing an artistic and polished stage presence that drew admiration from both fans and industry insiders.

With both her music and her character shining brightly, Jennie continues to define what it truly means to be a global K-pop icon.
