Jay Park’s Agency More Vision Plans To Terminate Contract With Jessi Following Schedule Controversy

More Vision led by Jay Park and Jessi are discussing the termination of the female singer’s exclusive contract

According to The Fact’s report on December 6th, More Vision recently announced their intention to terminate their exclusive contract with singer Jessi and both sides are discussing it. Jessi reportedly signed with More Vision in April after her exclusive contract with Psy’s P Nation expired in July last year. Although there are still about seven months left until her contract with More Vision expires, Jessi is already on the verge of leaving the company. 

It is known that More Vision cannot reach an agreement with Jessi due to differences in opinions. The most important thing right now is narrowing the gap between their opinions, but the possibility of both sides reconciling with each other and continuing their contractual relationship is very low.

Jessi released her new song “Gum” on October 25th, one and a half years after joining More Vision. However, her scheduled “Music Bank” appearance on October 27th was suddenly canceled due to the artist’s poor health condition, sparking controversy. Later, Jessi was also absent from “Music Core” and “Inkigayo” for the same reason. As such, many netizens began to question her changed appearance, unlike the past promotions when she was very active on music shows and entertainment programs when releasing new albums, 

An insider told The Fact, “Jessi and More Vision had a conflict over her new song activities, but it continued even after the promotion. In the end, More Vision decided that it would be better to part ways with Jessi”.

Appearing on SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa-young’s Power Time” on October 31st, Jessi shared, “I was all alone after leaving P Nation. I learned a lot during that time and was betrayed by many people”, adding “I haven’t taken a rest for 3.5 – 4 years. As I kept running, I got stressed out. People betrayed me and hurt me so I felt exhausted”.

Since late November, Jessi has been posting several photos on her SNS account, revealing that she was on a vacation in Bali, Indonesia. On December 1st, she also released a post with the caption, “Photodumps from Bali, Rest, rejuvenate, reset, restart”.
