On August 10, Jay Park delighted fans by uploading a series of childhood and teenage photos on Instagram without captions. The images highlighted different stages of his youth, from his adorable, cherubic toddler years to his mischievous teenage days. Despite the passing decades, fans noted how little his features had changed, flooding the comments with messages like, “A star from the start,” and “Please post more!”

Jay’s childhood pictures have surfaced before — in 2010, his then-agency SidusHQ shared images of him in a walker and wearing a hanbok, showing early signs of his charm and charisma.
Beyond his nostalgic photo drop, Jay recently appeared on the YouTube variety show Salon Drip 2, where he revealed his close relationship with his parents, his mother’s role in selecting his skincare products, and the fact that his father manages his finances. Addressing rumors of a ₩13 billion fortune, he admitted, “I’m not obsessed with money… I think it’s probably more than that since I’ve been active for so long.”
Fans also recall his 2022 appearance on MBC’s The Manager, where his cozy “K-style” home and health-focused morning routine — including garlic shots and turmeric ginger tea — surprised many who expected an extravagant hip-hop-style mansion.
Since debuting with 2PM in 2008 and re-launching as a solo artist in 2010, Jay Park has become one of Korea’s most successful musicians and entrepreneurs, founding labels AOMG, H1GHR MUSIC, and More Vision. Known for hits like MOMMAE, JOAH, ALL I WANNA DO, and the IU collaboration GANADARA, he continues to shape the Korean music scene as both an artist and CEO.

Jay’s latest Instagram post is a reminder that even global superstars have humble, heartwarming beginnings — and in his case, the confidence and charisma were there all along.
