Japanese singer-songwriter imase and BTS’s Jungkook have met
On October 19th, imase exclaimed, “OMG… I met Jungkook. It was great to be able to convey my gratitude directly,” and in Korean, he said, “Thank you!!”
imase also shared a photo with Jungkook, and in the picture, the two of them are standing side by side, making a thumbs-up pose.
imase gained recognition in Korea with his song “Night Dancer,” becoming the first Japanese artist to enter the Melon daily chart top 100 with this song, marking a milestone for J-POP.
Meanwhile, Jungkook will release his first solo album, “GOLDEN,” worldwide on November 3rd at 1 p.m KST. On November 5th, he was scheduled to perform as a nominee in three categories at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards, including Best Song, Best K-pop, and Biggest Fans.
However, the awards ceremony has been canceled due to the fallout from the Israel-Hamas conflict.
