The prosecution analyzed the “Sojang” account and found out that A earned 250 million won within two years starting from June 2021. In particular, A even purchased real estate using part of the profits from that YouTube channel.

The prosecution took over the cases of three victims, including Jang Won-young, from the police in December last year and conducted supplementary investigations. Last month, they received additional complaints from five more victims. In February and April, the prosecution requested arrest warrants for A twice but the court dismissed them all.

A explained that they created videos just to express their own opinions, the prosecution found additional videos of many celebrities on the laptop A used for video editing during a search of A’s house and confirmed that A even attempted to destroy evidence by deleting their YouTube channel.
