IVE’s Ahn Yu-jin Works Hard As MC & Performs With IVE At SBS Gayo Daejeon SUMMER
IVE’s leader Ahn Yu-jin has been selected as the MC for SBS Gayo Daejeon music festival for three consecutive years
According to Starship Entertainment, Ahn Yu-jin will be the MC for 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon SUMMER at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon on July 21st.
By confirming her role as the MC for Gayo Daejeon SUMMER this year, Ahn Yu-jin will meet the audience as the host for this K-pop festival for three years in a row. With her stable hosting skills and witty comments, Ahn Yu-jin is expected to excite viewers from the opening of Gayo Daejeon SUMMER by introducing stages of popular K-pop singers who have shone brightly in the first half of 2024.
Apart from Ahn Yu-jin’s MC activities, her performance with IVE members also attracts keen attention from global fans.
The connection between Ahn Eun-jin and Gayo Daejeon started with the female idol’s MC performance at SBS’s “Inkigauo” from March 2021 to March 2022. Receiving compliments for her calm attitude during live broadcasts and hosting skills as an experienced MC, Ahn Yu-jin later took charge of hosting Gayo Daejeon in 2022 and 2023. She will continue to be the main host for Gayo Daejeon for the third time this year and lead another spectacular summer music festival.
At the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards held earlier on July 19th, Ahn Yu-jin won WHY NOT award, which was given to artists or works that made changes to the streaming services with new ideas and challenges. Ahn Yu-jin is currently performing a world tour with her group IVE.
Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to the chemistry and synergy of Ahn Yu-jin, NCT’s Doyoung and TXT’s Yeonjun as they will host the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon SUMMER together, as well as IVE’s performance.
