IVE Liz returns to stage with overwhelming charm

Liz, a member of girl group IVE, goes through a transformation with her appearance in “THE PROM QUEENS” concert.

Recently, images of IVE’s “THE PROM QUEENS” concert in Manila, the Philippines, is taking over social media. At the same time, Liz is garnering hype for her appearance on the stage. From the photos, fans are happy now that the idol is gaining her charm and energy back when she first debuted.

After a strict diet and self-management, Liz is garnering massive attention with a slender face and sharper features. Her major glow-up is drawing attention on fan discussion fora.

When Liz made her debut with IVE, the idol is known for her blonde hair and round eyes along with a light and smooth complexion. Apart from an impeccable visual, Liz shone with an all-roundedness, especially her vocal talent.

An outstanding appearance brought Liz many advertising contracts after a short time of working as an idol. However, in mid-2022 and early 2023, the idol started receiving negative comments about her appearance, especially her weight.

At the time, rumors circulated that she was treated unfairly in the group due to her appearance change. Most notably, she began having less screentime with IVE’s new comebacks.

In a livestream, Liz said she was feeling fine and happy thanks to DIVEs. She comforted fans by saying she was trying her best and ill-intended criticisms did not bother her.

In another interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Liz shared, “My confidence has increased a lot while I did this activity. When I first got to the song ‘I AM’, I had a lot of hopes to do well. The fans liked it because they understood my sincerity, and I was happy to be back because I worked hard. I think I did a good job, so I’m happy.”

Moreover, Liz also shared a deep connection with the message of the song, saying, “Even if you get lost, you’d rather fly up, and that’s the way you go. I like the part where the song says that I will not be swayed by what others say, but that I will do what I want. It fits well with IVE’s concept and that’s what I’m after.”
