IVE member Leeseo made everyone laugh when revealing how she spent her first salary.
On April 15th, online content “The K-star Next Door”, hosted by Jonathan, uploaded a new video titled “#TheKstarNextDoor 3 begins with IVE REI, LEESEO, and GAEUL (‘Kitschi’ live)”.
In the video, Leeseo, Rei, and Gaeul introduced IVE’s comeback with the full album “I’ve IVE”. Jonathan asked the members, “From the Rookie Award to the Grand Prize, you received all the awards and got paid so fast like no one else. When you got paid, where did you spend it?”.
In response, Rei said, “We had a break. I went to Jeju Island with my family. I paid for everything. I gave my mom my credit card and said, ‘Pay for everything with this’.” Gaeul also shared, “I wanted to buy my parents the massage chair but they refused so I haven’t bought it yet”.
Jonathan turned to Leeseo, asking “What about you?”. Leeseo replied, “Do you know the coffee capsules?”. Rei and Gaeul added, “The capsules? Not the machine?”, making Jonathan burst out laughing.
Leeseo explained, “They already have the machine. They only need capsules. I bought maybe two rows?”.
Later, Jonathan looked at the profile and mentioned “Kaejokbo (K-Messed up pecking order)”. Hearing that, Rei asked, “Kaejokbo?”, drawing laughter. Leeseo explained, “When we order food, that’s actually our favorite food. Trotter (Jokbal) and boiled pork (Bossam)”.
However, Jonathan’s “Kaejokbo” was actually about Won Young and Yu Jin, the two members who re-debuted with IVE after carrying out idol activities for 4 years. Jonathan asked, “Do they act like they’re seniors or anything?”. Leeseo replied, “They never acted like seniors. They never do that. It’s actually better. In fact, they give us good advice.”
“The K-star Next Door” is a talk show in which “talkative MC” Jonathan interviews representative stars of the MZ Generation who appear with various nicknames or titles.
