Ahn Yujin, a member of girl group IVE, mentions a childhood habit as the secret behind her tall height and growth spurt.
IVE Ahn Yujin recently appeared on the MBC program “Radio Star”, confirmed her height is 172cm, and discussed the secret to her growth spurt.
In particular, when MC Kim Gukjin asked what makes IVE stand out from other girl groups, Ahn Yujin said, “All the members are quite tall.” She also added, “Jang Wonyoung is the tallest at 173cm, followed by me at 172cm, and Liz at 170cm, belonging to the ‘tall members’ category. Next, Rei is 169cm, the youngest member Leeseo is 166cm, and older sister Gaeul is 164cm, belonging to the ‘shorter members’ category.”
In fact, Ahn Yujin and Jang Wonyoung are known to be the tallest duo in the group.
Hearing this, MC Yoo Seyoon inquired Ahn Yujin for the secret behind her growth spurt. In response, Ahn Yujin said, “The secret to being tall is by jumping rope. I’ve been doing it consistently since childhood.”
The female idol also shared that she has participated in jump rope competitions, and can do 100 “double unders”, revealing her advanced jump rope skills.
The jump rope exercise, which Ahn Yujin cited as the secret to her height growth, is considered one of the best aerobic exercises for cardio workout.
