On August 5th, a post titled “A gift IU gave to her staff” started circulating on online communities. The post stated, “IU gave business class tickets to her staff.”
The author of the post added “This is her way of flexing. She treated her staff to business class tickets, saying they had worked hard. Her name is…” and tagged IU.
Another person wrote “Thanks to Ji-eun, I’m comfortably heading back to Korea” along with a photo showing them seated in business class.
Other staff members also shared similar photos online, confirming that IU had indeed provided business class tickets for all of them, totaling over 100 people.
Meanwhile, after wrapping up her U.S. tour, IU is set to hold the “HEREH” encore concert at Sangam World Cup Stadium on September 21st and 22nd.
