IU Struggles with Health Issues During World Tour

Recently, a video titled “IU TV 40,000 Fans Waiting… Encountered a Difficult Situation” was posted on the channel ‘IU TV.’

Ahead of her Manila concert, IU said, “Unfortunately, even though I’m performing in such a great venue, my condition isn’t good. I think this is the worst condition I’ve been in since the start of this tour. When I woke up this morning, I thought, ‘Oh no, this isn’t good. (Rehearsal) might not work out.’ Fortunately, the singing is going well, and we set it up nicely. We had a shorter rehearsal than usual. I practiced the cover songs a lot, and if it doesn’t go well, it will be a bit disappointing, but I hope it will be okay. I think it’s important to maintain a positive mindset when undertaking long-term projects,” she reassured herself.

IU, who is taking prescribed medication including antibiotics and experiencing swelling in her hands and feet, said, “I hope my face won’t be swollen tomorrow. I’ll try to get to sleep as early as possible today,” and cheered herself on with a “fighting” chant.

Meanwhile, IU has successfully completed her ‘2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT,’ which lasted for 5 months. On September 21 and 22, she will hold ‘2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE: THE WINNING’ at Seoul World Cup Stadium.
