EDAM Entertainment uploaded the main poster for IU’s pre-release song “Love Wins” on IU’s official SNS at midnight on January 16th.
The poster shows IU and BTS’s V sitting at a table facing each other. In the picture, IU is recording V with a camcorder in an indescribable space and V also looks straight at IU’s camcorder. The phrase, “From a place that my poor imagination cannot recall”, on the poster raises fans’ curiosities about the story the two will tell.
“Love Wins” has drawn keen attention even before its premiere due to the appearance of BTS’s V. In addition, director Uhm Tae-hwa, who was behind the success of the popular movie “Concrete Utopia” with 3.84 million viewers, took the megaphone to create the music video.
Above all, the fact that IU tried a film and drama release approach for this comeback instead of a traditional music promotion, also raises public anticipation.
