On April 23, a video titled “21st Century Project Completed” was uploaded to IU’s YouTube channel. In the clip, IU appeared alongside her co-stars Byeon Woo Seok, Lee Yeon, and Yoo Su Bin from the drama Perfect Crown, where they shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming.

The four actors, who had grown closer during production, maintained a cheerful and lively atmosphere throughout the conversation. Immersed in their roles, they even split into playful “teams” based on their characters, showing off their on-screen chemistry.

During the discussion, Byeon Woo Seok recalled a scene he filmed with Yoo Su Bin that didn’t go as smoothly as expected. Yoo explained that the scene was shot later in the schedule, when they had become much closer, which made them feel more pressure to perform well. Byeon added, “It’s because we grew to care more the feelings got stronger.”

Hearing this, Lee Yeon jokingly teased, “Doesn’t that mean the love was small at first?” IU chimed in with a thoughtful perspective, saying, “Exactly. And if it’s real love, you don’t feel the need to keep talking about it like that.” She added, “Love is something that simply exists at the core of your heart,” offering a calm and introspective take.

After a brief pause, Byeon Woo Seok shared his own view, saying, “These days, I think expressing love is a good thing.” Yoo Su Bin immediately responded with “I love you, hyung,” prompting laughter on set. Byeon quickly replied, “I love you too,” emphasizing once again that love should be expressed openly.

IU has been publicly dating Lee Jong Suk since 2022, marking four years of their relationship. The two first became acquainted back in 2012 while working together on SBS’s Inkigayo. At the time they confirmed their relationship, Lee described it as “the result of a long-time crush,” while IU shared that they had developed feelings while supporting each other as longtime colleagues.
