According to the industry on January 9th, Hästens will increase the prices of all its products, including beds, mattresses, bedding and accessories, starting from March 5th. The prices, which rose by around 10~15% in March and October last year, are expected to increase once again. Considering the prices that reach hundreds of millions of won for a single bed, there may be a price difference ranging from a few million won to as much as 10 million won.
With 172 years of history, Hästens is a handmade bed company that supplies to the Swedish royal family. Along with DUXIANA in Sweden, and Hypnos and Vispring in the UK, it is considered a “high-end brand”.
In Korea, Hästens gained fame through exposure on the SNS of celebrities like BLACKPINK’s Jennie and IU, being known as “Jennie’s bed” and “IU’s bed”.
Hästens is known for its made-to-order, local handmade production in Sweden, and it takes 3~6 months for delivery after ordering. It is 100% handmade by craftsmen using natural leather. A single bed or mattress costs a minimum of 30 million won and a maximum of 1.2 billion won based on CK size.
