IU invited the three siblings from “Hyori’s Homestay” to her concert? A coincidence that turns into a 5-year-long friendship

The three siblings, who appeared on JTBC’s entertainment program “Hyori’s Homestay,” are drawing attention by appearing at IU’s concert.

On Sep 18th, singer Jung Ye-won posted a photo on her Instagram with a caption saying, “Oh, IU is the best.” The released photo showed her older sister Jung Kyung-hwa and younger brother Jung Ha-min taking a proof shot with IU in the waiting room.

Jung Ye-won, who debuted as a singer in 2019 after season 1 of “Hyori’s Homestay” which aired in 2017, has been steadily staying in touch with IU as shown by IU’s constant support for her. IU recently drew attention by inviting all three siblings to her concert.

In particular, Ha-min, the youngest, surprised viewers by how much he has grown in the past five years. Netizens commented, “The youngest has become an adult,” “They still keep in touch,” and “IU really takes good care of people around her.”

Meanwhile, IU held her solo concert “The Golden Hour” at the Olympic Main Stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Songpa-gu, Seoul on Sep 17th and 18th.
