On April 23, a new video titled “[Mini Palette] 21st Century Project ‘Completion’ (With Team Perfect Crown)” was uploaded to IU’s YouTube channel.
The video featured IU along with actors Byeon Woo Seok, Yoo Su Bin, and Lee Yeon, who are all starring in MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown, where they shared behind-the-scenes stories and chemistry.
During the conversation, Byeon Woo Seok spoke about his first impression of Yoo Su Bin, who plays Choi Hyeon in the drama. He said, “I immediately felt like things would work out with Hyeon. Su Bin made me feel so comfortable, and even when I improvised slightly, he responded naturally and kept the rhythm going.”
In response, Yoo Su Bin shared, “Even before confirming the drama, I had a feeling I would work with him. I thought, ‘He’s someone I’m going to care about,’ especially since I play his aide.”

Meanwhile, Lee Yeon recalled feeling nervous at their first meeting, saying, “I was really tense, but IU came in carrying so many things.” She added, “I was happy because she approached me first and asked for my number.”
Hearing this, IU revealed her own impression of Lee Yeon, saying, “She had prepared ad-libs for every single scene. I felt intimidated.” She added with a laugh, “During the first script reading, I thought, ‘I really need to stay sharp and focused.’”
Lee Yeon debuted in 2018 with the film Anonymous and is celebrating her eighth anniversary this year. Meanwhile, IU, who debuted through the 2011 drama Dream High, marks her 15th year in acting yet continues to show humility and dedication toward her craft.
