In the interview, IU recalled the memory of the day she turned 30, “I was excited. The moment I counted down to the New Year while watching the year-end awards ceremony at home, I suddenly felt a sense of excitement rising. It was because I felt a little helpless and bored in my late 20s. It was the excitement that came to me after a long time. I felt better and confident that I could do something.”
