IU Canceled 44 Fraudulent Tickets And Expelled Illegal Ticket Traders From Fanclub Permanently

Singer IU again handled illegal ticket traders ahead of her solo concert, gaining praises from fans.

On February 29, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment posted a notice titled “Announcement On The 2nd Cancellation Of Illegal Tickets Of 2024 IU H.E.R. WORLD CONCERT IN SEOUL” on IU’s official account.

The agency said, “We have taken the following steps regarding a total of 44 reservations confirmed to be fraudulent ticket transactions which are against our company’s policy,” and announced that it has permanently expelled the illegal traders from IU’s official fanclub. In addition, it announced that it has imposed restrictions on their reservations for performances, cancellation of tickets, permanent expulsion of fan clubs. These people have also been forced to withdraw from IU’s official fancafe for reservations.

Meanwhile, IU will hold a solo concert at KSPO DOME in Seoul on March 2, 3, 9 and 10 (four times in total). All tickets for the fourth concert were sold out in advance for the sixth generation of fans who joined IU’s online fanclub site UAENA.

IU reportedly plans to continue her tour in Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, London, Berlin, Bangkok, Osaka, Newark, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Rosemont, Oakland, and Los Angeles after the Seoul concert.
