ITZY’s fancam on M! Countdown: Not the visual nor the center, this is the member with the most view!

Once again, JYP proved them to be a great company in training female groups when ITZY members have fairly equal popularity right after their debut.

After storming YouTube and digital music sites, ITZY “dinosaur rookie” brought their debut song “Dalla Dalla” to promote at weekly music shows. On the afternoon of February 14, JYP‘s new female group had their first debut stage on Mnet’s “M! Countdown”. And as expected, ITZY continues to become a hot topic on the Internet thanks to its impressive performance.

As soon as “M! Countdown” ended, ITZY‘s “Dalla Dalla” stage went straight to No. 1 in the top 100 most popular videos on Naver TV. Up to 12 hours on February 15 (Korean time), which means after more than half a day of posting, ITZY‘s performance is still holding the first place with more than 500,000 views.

On YouTube, the group’s stage for “Dalla Dalla” recorded more than 2.2 million views in less than 1 day of posting. The fancam version posted on the M2 channel also collected 1.7 million views as of 11:30 am this morning (Korean time).

In particular, individual fancam of each member also has impressive views. After 17 hours of posting, leader Yeji‘s fancam currently owns the highest view with about 250,000 views. The member has the second highest view of fancam is the youngest Yuna with about 220,000 views. Ryujin ranked third as the group’s center, with about 210,000 fancam views. Next is Chaeryeong with about 185,000 views, and finally Lia with about 165,000 views.

The most surprising thing is the fairly consistent popularity of ITZY members right after their debut, considering that their fancam views do not have too much difference. This is the point where the audience believes that JYP is on the right track in creating a name, public recognition, and fandom for ITZY and avoiding making the group a “private stage” of any member.
