ITZY’s Chaeryeong Exposed JYP Senior DAY6’s Young K, “I Could Smell Alcohol From You”

On July 9th, the YouTube channel “Merry-Go-Round” uploaded a video of ITZY Chaeryeong’s content featuring the guest appearance of DAY6’s Young K, comedian Lee Jin-ho and singer Lee Chae-yeon.

In the video, Chaeryeong and Young K talked about the experiences they had at a company workshop in the past.

Chaeryeong asked, “Do you remember going to the workshop with our agency members?”, Young K replied, “I don’t remember. How was I?”, Chaeryeong said, “You had a hard time in the morning.” Young K asked back, “Aren’t mornings hard for everybody?”.

Chaeryeong said, “You guys had a particularly hard time. All the band members were lying on the bench like this. I could smell alcohol from you guys”. Embarrassed for a moment, Young K explained, “You know, workshop is… We’re not the type of people who drink and party like that all the time. After we finished the showcase together, there was a time for older people to gather together to have a drink, like an after-party.”

In addition, Young K also asked Chaeryeong, “You didn’t always smell like alcohol, right?”. Chaeryeong responded, “I think you did pretty often”. Young K added, “No, that’s probably just in your head”. Revealing that she thought Young K must be going through a lot balancing college life with his main job, Chaeryeong commented, “I thought you seemed very diligent”.
