Alongside the wedding news, it was revealed that Kim Jong-kook purchased a lavish home for his newlywed life. The property, located in Nonhyeon Apelbaum 2, Gangnam, is valued at ₩6.2 billion. Even more impressive— Kim Jong-kook paid for it entirely in cash.
Spanning 243 square meters, the villa showcases:

Kim Jong-kook recently showcased his new house on his YouTube channel, sparking buzz among fans. He also hinted at marriage preparations by undergoing a sperm test to prepare for having children.
In the video, after receiving a gift of slippers, Kim commented, “I was going to prepare slippers because of the noise between floors.” Fellow entertainer Shorry then jokingly added, “Our wife will like that.” Kim Jong-kook responded with laughter, saying, “Hey, I also have to prepare for my wife. We need to use the same ones — how could we use different ones?”

While Kim Jong-kook has kept details private, Sports Chosun reported that his fiancée is a 39-year-old Korean-American from Los Angeles. She is the CEO of a cosmetics company and has been in a long-term relationship with Kim since around 2020. Described as beautiful with a mixed-race charm, she is 11 years younger than the singer.
Their wedding will be held privately in Seoul this October, attended only by close family and friends.
Born in 1976, Kim Jong-kook rose to fame as part of the hit duo Turbo in 1995. After the group disbanded, he became a successful soloist, even winning all three major Daesang awards in 2005 with his third album.
