Lucky and Jonathan appeared as guests in KBS2’s “Problem Child in House,” which aired on March 8th. In the show, MC Jeong Hyung-don told Lucky, who has been living in Korea for 27 years, “you are the most famous Indian in Korea.”

However, Lucky was upset that his popularity was surpassed by Indian actor Anupam, who played Ali in Netflix’s “Squid Game.”

MC Kim Yong-man asked, “Did you think, ‘I should have played that role’ while watching ‘Squid Game’?” For the first time, Lucky confessed, “I actually received a text message two years ago. At that time, they didn’t mention ‘Squid Game’ or anything. I suddenly got a text saying, ‘It’s a series and there’s a role of an Indian illegal immigrant’, without being informed of what kind of work it is.” “I’m now doing business and I can even buy houses, so I thought, ‘I’m a CEO, but how could they see me as an illegal immigrant?’”, Lucky said he then refused the offer.

When MC Kim Sook asked, “Isn’t it just a role in a drama?”, Lucky explained that his pride was hurt at that time. Kim Yong-man wondered, “Is that the role you saw in the drama later on?”, adding, “You must have regretted refusing the role”.

Lucky expressed his deep regret, saying, “I could have come and sat at the Hollywood by now”
