ILLIT to Make a Comeback After 7 Months with New Album in October

ILLIT to release second mini-album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' in October

On September 23, according to their agency, Belift Lab, ILLIT will release their second mini-album “I’LL LIKE YOU” on October 21.

While their debut album “SUPER REAL ME” showcased “my true self,” this new album tells the second story of “me” being deeply immersed in the moment.

Belift Lab shared, “Through ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’, ILLIT will portray the charm of moving forward with honesty, as they meet ‘you,’ the person they want to get close to, face challenges, and find their own answers.”

ILLIT is the first girl group introduced by Belift Lab, the agency behind the group ENHYPEN. Upon their debut in March, they dominated charts both domestically and internationally. “SUPER REAL ME” even entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The title track “Magnetic” made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100, marking the first time a K-pop group’s debut album and debut song achieved such records.

Additionally, “Magnetic” was named the most-streamed K-pop song overseas during the first half of this year on Spotify, recently surpassing 400 million streams. This makes it the fastest K-pop debut song to reach this milestone. The song also continues to trend on global short-form platforms, ranking 6th in Korea and 5th in Japan on TikTok’s “Songs of the Summer 2024.”

Pre-orders for “I’LL LIKE YOU” will begin at 10 AM on the same day, and ILLIT will hold a fan showcase on October 23 at 7 PM (KST).
