Main Rapper Admitted To Illegally Filming

On March 8th, the Seoul Western District Court’s Criminal Chamber 4 (judge Hong Da-sun) held the first trial of rapper Choi, who was indicted without detention on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act (filming and rebuffing using cameras, etc.).

According to the prosecution, Choi is suspected of illegally filming sex scenes with his ex-girlfriend 18 times between 2022 and May 2023.

It was confirmed that he encouraged the victim to have sex while wearing an eye patch, and then secretly filmed her through a silent camera application. He is also suspected of filming the back of another woman, C, lying on the bed in July of the same year at a bar in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. No circumstances of the video being distributed have been found.

The group that Choi belonged to is a five-member idol group that debuted in 2017. Choi played the main rapper position in the group and left the group in 2019 due to health reasons. Choi’s next trial is scheduled for May 17 at 3 p.m (KST).
