Idol Group Reported Agency’s CEO for Assault

A current idol group member has reported being assaulted by their agency's CEO, prompting a police investigation.

According to Korean media, The Seoul Gangnam Police Station responded to a call at around 4:30 AM (KST) on the 11th, reporting that the agency’s CEO was assaulting members of a current idol group.

The police arrived at the idol group’s dormitory and are investigating the CEO for allegedly assaulting the members with a blunt object approximately 90 cm long.

It has been reported that the CEO assaulted the members due to the dormitory’s untidy condition. Among the assaulted members was a minor. The CEO was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the assault.

The police have charged the agency’s CEO with special assault and are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident.
