Will Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin really buy this house?” Kim (45), who attended the lecture, said, “I often attend lectures related to things put up for sale, so I found it convincing when I heard Hyun Bin’s name mentioned. Just by searching online, there were many mentions of ‘Hyun Bin visited this model house’, so I naturally thought it was true.”
In one article, there was also an interview with a visitor mentioning the neighborhood where Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin currently live, stating, “I heard that celebrities residing in Achiul Village, Guri, Gyeonggi Province visited here.”
When you search for “Pozes Hangang” on portal sites, “Hyun Bin” automatically appears as a related search term.
However, to cut to the chase, Hyun Bin has no plans to move anytime soon and has not even visited the model house.
A representative from Hyun Bin’s agency stated, “We have been aware of these rumors circulating since last year. Although we thought about releasing official statements to clarify, as it seemed to provide promotional effects, we found it unfair.“
Furthermore, they expressed, “At the agency level, we sent messages to delete promotional posts related to blogs or commented using the agency’s ID. However, there were too many blatant remarks like ‘Hyun Bin visited there’, so we had to consider countermeasures.“
A management company official said, “We have seen many instances of using names falsely for business or investment purposes or being plagued by rumors. Especially in cases related to real estate investment, there could be potential victims. That’s why there is an active response to such fake news or cyber wreckers in the entertainment industry.”
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are a top star couple, and where they live and what they do captures the public’s interest.
Therefore, it’s regrettable that their exemplary actions, such as donating a total of 150 million won to Seoul Asan Hospital and the Jusarang Community Foundation’s Babybox at the end of last year, are overshadowed by rumors related to real estate marketing. This is why the agency’s concerns are deepening, and a strong response is needed.
