Hyeri Reveals The Originator of ‘Alcohol Trash,’ a Lightweight Among Celebrities

Former Girls' Day member Hyeri met with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.

On March 29th, a video titled ‘Taeyeon, saying she’ll take it easy but becoming a wild girl’ was uploaded to Hyeri’s official YouTube channel. The video was the eighth episode of ‘Hyeri’s Club,’ hosted by Hyeri, with Taeyeon, Hyeri’s close friend, appearing as a guest.

Taeyeon is one of the representative celebrities who can’t drink well. Hyeri, who prepared sweet cocktails for her friend, said, “You and I both know about ‘Alcohol Trash.’ Do you know? Taeyeon unnie is the one who first coined the term ‘Alcohol Trash.'”

‘Alcohol Trash’ means a lightweight, someone who can’t drink well. Taeyeon gained popularity after appearing on MBC’s ‘Radio Star,’ where she revealed her nickname in the past.

Regarding this, Taeyeon explained, “I drank 2-3% alcohol sold in Japan, and my face turned red, and I passed out.” Taeyeon also joked, “To many alcohol trash out there!”

Meanwhile, when rumors of her ex-boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s relationship emerged recently, Hyeri posted on her Instagram, “Interesting,” sparking controversy over transit love suspicions. Afterwards, Hyeri and Han So Hee each apologized after engaging in a dispute through their respective Instagram accounts.

However, on March 29th, Han So Hee once again drew attention by targeting Hyeri in a post on Instagram. Han So Hee wrote, “I want to ask what was so interesting about getting a girlfriend after breaking up. “

As the controversy grew, Han So Hee deleted the post. Hyeri has not made any statements on the matter.
