On February 6, a video titled “Short but Sweet Prenatal Trip—Is This How You’re Supposed to Buy Baby Items?” was uploaded to Hyeri’s YouTube channel. In the video, Hyeri and her sister travel together to Tokyo, Japan, for a special prenatal getaway. For her expecting sister, Hyeri booked a five-star luxury hotel, sparing no expense.
As soon as they arrived, the sisters couldn’t hide their excitement. “It smells amazing,” “The view is insane—pure city view,” “Nothing’s blocking the scenery,” “The bathroom is so pretty, even the vanity,” “All the amenities are Bulgari,” and “They even have a pillow menu with like seven options—that’s what I love,” they exclaimed, clearly impressed by every detail of the hotel.
Hyeri later revealed, “I even tried to book a higher-tier room than this, but it was just too expensive.” The hotel they stayed at—the Bulgari Hotel—currently has a starting price of around 2.8 million won (approximately USD 2,100) per night.
“I’ve stayed at a lot of nice hotels, but this one really feels different,” Hyeri said, adding, “Maybe it’s because I’m here with my sister.” Her affection was evident throughout the trip.
Her sister, visibly touched, shared, “I’m so happy. My sister takes care of everything. Even just looking around the hotel was fun.” She added honestly, “I do think it’s really expensive for one night, but I’m trying not to think about that. I’m just going to enjoy it as much as possible. This kind of opportunity won’t come again.”
In response, Hyeri said casually, “I think if you work hard now, you can just work hard again when you get back. They say credit card bills are the best motivation.”
The trip continued with a visit to a baby store, where Hyeri cheerfully said, “I’m about to become an aunt, so we’re here to buy gifts for our soon-to-be-born little chick. We’re a clueless mom-to-be and aunt-to-be.” The two enthusiastically filled their basket with various baby items, adding to the warm and lighthearted atmosphere.
Hyeri’s younger sister, Lee Hye-rim, got married last year and is currently 30 weeks pregnant.
