Hye-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol Back to Their Work After Love Controversy

As the 'Fun Match' of Hye-ri, Ryu Jun-yeol, and Han So-hee finally comes to an end, actors Ryu Jun-yeol and Hye-ri are returning to their respective fields to focus on their "main jobs"

According to Hye-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol’s agencies on the 31st, Hye-ri left for Bangkok, Thailand for the filming of the movie ‘Tropical Night,’ and Ryu Jun-yeol will start filming for ‘Apocalypse’ in early April (around the 1st to 2nd).

‘Tropical Night’ (directed by Kim Pan-soo) is an action film depicting the 24 hours of people who strive to survive in the heat of Bangkok that doesn’t cool down even at midnight. It is the next work of Hive Media Corp., the production company of last year’s blockbuster ‘Spring of Seoul.’ Along with Hye-ri, actors Woo Do-hwan, Jang Dong-gun, Park Sung-hoon, Kim Min-seok, and Kim Min are also starring.

As it is a location shoot in Thailand, Hye-ri has been staying in Thailand and briefly returned home for personal schedules on the 21st. She is leaving again for Bangkok for filming.

Ryu Jun-yeol’s new film ‘Apocalypse’ (directed by Yeon Sang-ho) depicts the story of a pastor with a mission to establish a church who receives news that his children have gone missing and encounters a prophecy that a new believer is the culprit.

Earlier, Ryu Jun-yeol confirmed his breakup with Han So-hee just 14 days after admitting to their relationship. Thus, the tumultuous ‘Fun Match’ has come to an end, and Hye-ri and Ryu Jun-yeol are returning to their respective positions. Although Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were discussing starring in the new drama ‘Delusion’ directed by Han Jae-rim, this seems unlikely to materialize.
