On August 8th, a video titled “Best Highlights of July 2024” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “I am WalKing”, which features footage of streets in the U.S. In the video, Bang Si-hyuk was spotted walking in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles with two women, sparking curiosity.
The two women were later revealed to be popular BJ Juice Seyeon and her older sister. BJ Juice Seyeon, born in 2000, is an influencer with 320,000 subscribers on YouTube. She appeared on the YouTube variety show “No Back Tak Jae-hoon” in May, and the video has reached 2.72 million views. She also appeared on Netflix’s original variety show “The Influencer”, which was first released on August 6th.
Regarding this unexpected combination, HYBE clarified on August 8th that it was a “chance encounter”.
They explained, “Bang Si-hyuk met Juice Seyeon’s older sister at a gathering and provided advice on how to deal with impersonators in the entertainment industry.”
They added, “When the two women later visited LA, they asked for recommendations on tourist spots and restaurants, which Bang Si-hyuk helped arrange and guide them.”
Despite the explanation, sightings of Bang Si-hyuk and Juice Seyeon in the U.S. continued to spread online, fueling interest.
One netizen posted a photo with the caption, “My friend saw Bang Si-hyuk in the U.S. a few days ago and took this picture.”
The photo shows Bang Si-hyuk in “tourist mode”, absorbed in taking pictures of the women.
BJ Juice Seyeon’s Instagram has featured photos from her U.S. trip since July, which has also gained renewed attention. However, due to the overwhelming interest, she has disabled the comment sections on her social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube.
Meanwhile, Bang Si-hyuk is known to own a luxury mansion on Stradella Road in the upscale Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. The mansion, which spans about 1,020 square meters and includes six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, was reportedly purchased last year for $26.4 million.
Currently, BJ Juice Seyeon is confirmed to have blocked people from writing comments on her SNS account and YouTube channel, including the community and her videos. The BJ is effectively cutting all communication.
