During her August 8 performance of Maria on Mnet’s Live Wire, Hwasa captivated the audience with her signature powerhouse vocals and commanding choreography. Dressed in a nude-toned outfit, she encountered a brief snag when the hem of her skirt caught on the heel of her shoe while moving from a seated to a standing position.
Without breaking character or missing a beat, Hwasa smoothly freed the skirt, blending the movement seamlessly into her routine. Viewers and fellow performers admired her poise, with Jung Jae-hyung praising her quick thinking on stage. Hwasa responded with a shy smile, while the audience joined in the fun by acting as if nothing had happened, keeping the atmosphere lighthearted.
Her guest appearance came at the invitation of rapper Loco , her duet partner for the hit song Don’t. The two shared a warm reunion on set, with Loco explaining, “We used to meet up often and grab meals together, but since Hwasa’s been busy with her tour, it’s been a while since we saw each other.
