Hwasa, “I didn’t take the college entrance exam because I hated studying… I enjoy performing on stage”

MAMAMOO Hwasa revealed an anecdote from her school days.

Hwasa appeared as a special MC on the recent broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”, which aired on November 13th.

Seo Jang Hoon said, “I heard the story that you really hated studying when you were in elementary school and even declared that you would give up on the college entrance exam”.

In response, Hwasa recalled the past and said, “I did not give up. I just said I wouldn’t take the exam”, adding “My dad was not very surprised and he even said he already expected that. I hated studying and was not interested in learning at all. Rather, I’ve enjoyed performing on the stage since I was young”.

She continued, “I worked hard at school. I also went to the karaoke and studied there passionately”.
