A Bar is a famous hotspot in Apgujeong, run by Shinhwa’s Lee Min-woo‘s sister. However, it is reported that the bar was not originally designed as a hunting pocha.
Hwang Jae-gyun, a baseball player, was confirmed to have gathered with acquaintances at A Bar in Apgujeong until 6 a.m. on September 1, after finishing a game in Daejeon on August 31.
A video of Hwang Jae-gyun at the bar was uploaded to the bar’s social media, and a fan who saw it reported to OSEN, sharing photos showing Hwang talking with acquaintances among other patrons drinking until 6 a.m.
The informant claimed that, although Hwang Jae-gyun is a senior player on the KT Wiz team, his presence at a drinking gathering with both men and women during an important regular league season, and with the upcoming fall baseball season, was bound to attract attention. This was particularly notable given the current rumors of divorce involving him, which were sparked by a false statement from commentator Lee Gwang-gil.
The sighting of Hwang Jae-gyun at the bar garnered more attention because of the ongoing divorce rumors involving actress Jiyeon. A representative from KT Wiz cautiously responded to OSEN, stating, “We cannot comment on who he was drinking with as it is a personal matter.”
Additionally, some media outlets reported that the bar Hwang visited was a hunting pocha in Apgujeong, a place known for socializing with the opposite sex. The bar’s name became linked to “Apgujeong Hunting Pocha” in search engines.

The bar became famous among celebrities and influencers. Lee Min-woo’s sister still runs the place, and Min-woo recently posted photos on social media from a birthday party he held there with friends. In 2020, actor Go Kyung-pyo took a photo at A Bar with a BJ, leading to false rumors that he had visited an entertainment establishment.
Lee Min-woo is currently a regular member of the KBS2 variety show Mr. House Husband, and his sister, Lee Young-mi, also appeared on the show, sharing a story about how her brother was a victim of a ₩2.6 billion fraud.
Meanwhile, divorce rumors between T-ara’s Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun have not subsided.
