According to News1 on Dec 27th, Hwang In-youp will establish a one-man agency with a manager who has been with him since his rookie days.
Hwang In-youp debuted in 2018 with the web drama “WHY” then appeared in “The Tale of Nokdu” (2019) and “18 Again” (2020). He became a trending actor in earnest through “True Beauty” (2020). He later established himself as a leading actor with “The Sound of Magic” (2022) and “Why Her” (2022).
Hwang In-youp’s next project is JTBC’s new drama “Family by Choice”. “Family by Choice” is about 3 people unrelated by blood who spend their teenage years together. They rely on each other while carrying the scars they received from their parents. It is a work that tells the story of familial love, romantic love and friendship among those who have been reunited after 10 years.
In “Family by Choice”, Hwang In-youp will play Kim San-ha, who appears flawless with looks that appeal to everyone. Carrying a story that cannot be told to anyone, Kim San-ha left his friends, who grew up together like siblings, abruptly and reappears after 10 years.
