“Hunt” Heo Sung-tae: “The scenes in which I beat Go Yoon-jung… I felt very sorry while watching them”

“Hunt” Heo Sung-tae expressed his sorriness towards Go Yoon-jung.

The press preview of the movie “Hunt” (directed by Lee Jung-jae) was held at COEX Megabox, Samseong-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of July 27th. Director Lee Jung-jae, actors Jung Woo-sung, Jeon Hye-jin, Heo Sung-tae and Go Yoon-jung attended the event to talk about the movie.

On this day, Heo Sung-tae shared his thoughts after watching the movie, “This is the first time to check the scenes that I’ve only seen in the script. The first thing I told the director after reading the script was, ‘How are you going to film all of this?’ I was surprised to see the movie with my own eyes. Because I saw it with my own eyes, I wondered how he acted and even directed it. That part surprised me the most today.”

Regarding the scenes of beating Go Yoon-jung in the movie, he confessed, “There aren’t many acting scenes that I like. I felt very sorry for Yoon-jung while watching them.”

Heo Sung-tae made everyone laugh as he added, “There were a lot of hardships. I asked her if she was okay after every scene. I played my role like that day and night. Every time I beat her, I felt very uncomfortable and sorry.”

Go Yoon-jung replied, “I realized that it was more difficult to act hitting than getting hit since senior Heo Sung-tae was so good. I was able to act comfortably and immersively thanks to senior Heo Sung-tae.”

“Hunt” is an action drama in which Park Pyong-ho (Lee Jung-jae) and Kim Jung-do (Jung Woo-sung), who suspect each other and find the spy hidden in their organization, face a huge incident called “Korea’s No.1 assassination operation”. The movie will be released on August 10th.
