On July 30th, Huh Yun-jin made a long post on the fan community platform Weverse, saying “This work, which we have been filming for a very long time since three years ago, had many embarrassing and frustrating parts, but I’m glad that we filmed it”.
She continued, “I think a lot of things have changed over the past 3 years. Of course, some things are still the same, but now I see things I didn’t see back then and encounter things I didn’t feel back then every day”, adding “So actually, sometimes looking at my past self feels like looking at a stranger. It’s very confusing. I feel separated from my past self. It brings a nostalgic and somehow bittersweet feeling”.
Huh Yun-jin confessed, “Happiness? The appearances of us over the past three years show it. It’s just this moment of being together”, adding “More than any achievement or accomplishment, it’s the heart that strives together with all our efforts. The trembling and overcoming pain together. The steps we take with courage together. In the end, isn’t this what remains? Just seeing this on screen shakes my heart so much, it can’t be fake happiness. This is real”.
Lastly, she said, “Happiness always seems far away. I am so lucky to realize that I can find it even on either side of me”.
Meanwhile, Huh Yun-jin’s group LE SSERAFIM released the 5-episode documentary “Make It Look Easy”, which features LE SSERAFIM’s behind moments from the year-end stages in 2022 to the preparation of their 3rd mini album “EASY” in 2024, on HYBE’s YouTube channel on July 29th.
