When leaving, his assistant helped Ye Ke into the car first, with Huang following. Contrary to recent social media rumors, their relationship seems stable and positive.
On the evening of November 7, reports claimed that Huang Xiaoming wanted to break up with Ye Ke due to controversies from her past that have stirred online debates since their relationship went public. According to Sohu, Ye Ke allegedly demanded a breakup fee of 270 million RMB (about $37 million USD), intended to cover childbearing and raising expenses until the child turns 18. By the morning of November 8, the source of these rumors issued an apology, revealing they had received a warning letter from the parties’ lawyers.
Huang Xiaoming and Ye Ke went public with their relationship in September. Since then, Ye Ke has drawn attention with her live-stream remarks, including openly admitting to having 40% cosmetic surgery and criticizing songs by artists like Wu Bai, Jolin Tsai, and Tao Zhe.
