Chinese actor Huang Jingyu (Johnny Huang) is once again at the center of dating speculation after a neighbor claimed to have seen him bringing an unidentified woman into his apartment complex. The rumor gained momentum after paparazzo Liu Dachui discussed the alleged sighting during a December 9 livestream.
According to the neighbor, Huang Jingyu was photographed inviting the woman into his Shanghai residence on two separate occasions — one reportedly from October of this year and another from 2024. Though the photos themselves were not publicly released, the claims quickly spread through Chinese social media platforms.
Additional alleged sightings are also resurfacing. Huang Jingyu was previously spotted with a woman inside his car while filming the upcoming drama Our Dazzling Days. He was also photographed taking an evening walk with a woman and a childhood friend. Earlier this year, a woman appeared in the background of a gym photo taken during Huang Jingyu’s trip to the Phu Quoc Islands.
It remains unknown whether all of these sightings involve the same individual. Still, online discussions are intensifying as fans debate whether paparazzi and neighbors have crossed privacy boundaries by publicizing the actor’s personal life.
Huang Jingyu rose to prominence through projects such as Addicted (2016), Operation Red Sea (2018), Moonshine and Valentine (2018), and The Thunder (2019). Despite frequent speculation about his private life, he has not publicly commented on the latest claims.
The renewed attention has sparked a broader conversation about celebrity privacy, ethics in street photography, and the growing scrutiny placed on China’s top stars.
