How is So Ji-sub’s first challenge with a thriller?… “I was satisfied with my unfamiliar appearance in the film”
Actor So Ji-sub expressed his feelings about appearing in “Confession”.
On the afternoon of October 18th, the press conference for the movie “Confession” was held at Lotte Cinema, Konkuk University Entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors So Ji-sub, Kim Yoon-jin, Nana, and director Yoon Jong-seok attended the event.
On this day, So Ji-sub said, “I’m very happy to release a new film and meet the audience after two years. I look young in the movie because it was filmed two years ago”.
Explaining the interesting point of acting a thriller, So Ji-sub said, “I got to experience filming a thriller movie for the first time through this work. I was able to see an unfamiliar side of myself so I felt very satisfied. I want to try a thriller again in the future. I think thriller is a very interesting genre”.
The role of Yoo Min-ho was not an easy character for So Ji-sub, who challenged the suspense thriller genre for the first time. However, he perfectly portrayed the three-dimensional character Yoo Min-ho who desperately tries to clear himself of the murder charges and sensitively turns the direction of the case.
The movie will be released on October 26th.
