How Hyeri, Park Kyung-hye, Byun Woo-seok, and Choi Woo-seong Unexpectedly Bond Through Acting Study Group

Former Girl’s Day member and actress Hyeri is currently busy filming “Tropical Night” as she looks for a new company. Additionally, in June, she will appear in the Netflix variety show “Mystery Investigation Team” and continue to be active in various fields.

Actor Park Kyung-hye boasted her friendship with Hyeri on a variety show in 2022. They became close while appearing together in dramas such as “My Roommate is a Gumiho”. The two traveled together, showing a strong bond of friendship.

Park Kyung-hye also confessed that she, Hyeri, actor Byun Woo-seok, and Choi Woo-sung formed an “acting study group”. She admitted that while studying acting with them, she couldn’t help but glance at their performances, fearing she might lose focus.

Choi Woo-seong, who appeared in “Chief of Investigation 1958”, recently revealed in an interview that he had been in an acting study group with Byun Woo-seok, Hyeri, and Park Kyung-hye for over 6 months. Choi Woo-seong appeared with Hyeri and Park Kyung-hye in the tvN drama “My Roommate is a Gumiho”, which ended in July 2021.

Regarding the reason for forming the study group, Choi Woo-seong said, “Unlike Hyeri and Park Kyung-hye, I didn’t know Byun Woo-seok at the time.” He explained, “Hyeri and Byun Woo-seok had a friendship because they appeared together in the KBS2 drama ‘Moonshine’. Originally, Hyeri and Park Kyung-hye were planning to study together, but they needed a male counterpart, so we ended up joining.”

He added, “When we first formed the group, it was supposed to last for only 3 months. But we became so close that unexpectedly, we continued for over half a year.”

Choi Woo-seong said that through the study group, he first became friends with Byun Woo-seok and praised him as “a very kind and cool older brother”. Although all four are busy and no longer have study sessions, Choi Woo-seong recently revealed that he still keeps in touch with Byun Woo-seok, sharing, “I received a message from him saying he’s enjoying ‘Chief of Investigation’. I’m also enjoying ‘Lovely Runner’. I told him, ‘Bro, you’re doing so well’,” revealing that they have maintained a close friendship for over two years.

Byun Woo-seok appeared on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” on the 22nd and, prior to that, on Jang Do-yeon’s YouTube variety show “Salon Drip” on the 20th, reaching out to fans. He will soon appear on Hyeri’s YouTube channel “Hyeri’s Club”.
