On March 19, Sports Seoul exclusively reported that Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee were recently seen enjoying a walk with their son at Misasup Park in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province. In the photos, the couple appeared relaxed and unconcerned about public attention as they spent quiet time outdoors.

What stood out most was Kim Min Hee’s appearance as a mother. She was dressed casually in a beige oversized jacket, white pants, and a black cap, attentively caring for her child. Hong Sang Soo also wore a dark gray jacket paired with navy wide-leg pants, creating a subtle “couple look” with her.

Notably, Hong Sang Soo was seen personally pushing the stroller while following behind Kim Min Hee. A witness at the scene shared, “You could feel how much affection they had for their son,” adding that the child appeared to have grown significantly compared to earlier reports.

Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee publicly acknowledged their personal relationship in 2017 during a press conference for the film On the Beach at Night Alone, and they have continued their relationship for nearly a decade.

On the Beach at Night Alone is widely interpreted as a semi-autobiographical work by Hong Sang Soo. The film tells the story of an actress who leaves Korea due to the emotional strain of being involved with a married film director, with Kim Min Hee in the lead role. Through this performance, she became the first Korean actress to win the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival.

Hong Sang Soo remains legally married after losing a divorce lawsuit against his wife in 2019. He and Kim Min Hee welcomed a son out of wedlock in April last year and have been residing in Korea. His latest work, “The Day She Returns,” has been invited to the Panorama section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, showing that his career remains steady despite ongoing public criticism of his private life. Actress Song Seon Mi, who stars in the film, previously shared photos from the festival on social media, writing, “I went to the Berlin Film Festival. It was an experience that broadened my perspective.” Kim Min Hee also participated in the project as a production manager.
